Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Claude Samuel Fagan, age 63, of Danielsville, Georgia, who passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. Mr. Fagan was born in Atlanta, Georgia, a son to Mrs. Mary Agnes Johnson Ramsey of McDonough and the late Claude Vanderbilt Fagan Jr. Mr. Fagan was a Master Mechanic working many years for Hayes Chrysler and Wheatley Garage. Mr. Fagan enjoyed exploring the woods with his sons, grandson, nieces, and nephews, just being in nature. Sam never met a stranger, humans and pets alike. Given the choice, Sam preferred to spend his days on the bank fishing with kids, and grandchildren and surrounded by God.
Survivors include his wife, Kelli Fagan of Jefferson; sons, Josh Fagan and his wife Ashley of Hoschton, Jacob Fagan of Buford; grandson, Ryland Fagan of Hoschton; mother, Mary Agnes Ramsey of McDonough; brothers and sisters, Johnny Stowe and his wife Janet of Lithonia, Phyllis Lupfer of Kissimmee, FL, Angie Stowe of Flowery Branch, Carlotta Guillebeau and her husband, David of McDonough, Jim Cannady and his wife Tracy of Covington and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Linkous officiating.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.
