Sarah Leigh Truelove

Sarah Leigh Truelove, age 62, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2024 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Steve Baker will officiate.

Sarah was born January 2, 1962, in Gainesville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Henry Lee Truelove and Gladys Young Truelove. She was preceded in death by her sister Diane Hand (David).

Sarah was a 1979 graduate of North Hall High School where she graduated 2nd in her class. She graduated North Georgia College in 1983. After graduation she went on to work as a computer programmer for Lockheed Martin for 30 years at which time she was forced to retire due to her health.  Family was her life and traveling was her passion. She loved taking trips with her family. She was always there for anyone in need. Sarah is survived by her sisters Bobbie Truelove, Louise Harris (Terry) Nephews and nieces Brian Hand (Asia) Alisa Crimaldi (Joe) Justen Harris, Stacia Fleming (Andrew) and Kaylee hand. Plus many great nieces and nephews, and her cousin Chris Truelove (Kelly) who was like a brother.  

We would like to thank Sarah's special care givers Mary Jane Cline and Kelly Truelove along with her niece Kaylee Hand for the love and gentle care they gave Sarah during her sickness. To have known Sarah was to have been touched by an angel here on earth.
