Mrs. Peggy Ann Highsmith Coleman, age 85 of Toccoa passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the home of her daughter in Lavonia, Georgia.
A daughter of the late Paul Edward Highsmith and Frances Valeria Draper Highsmith, she was born April 7, 1938 in Nashville, Tennessee having lived in Mount Juliet, Tennessee for a number of years before retiring and moving to Stephens County. After moving to Stephens County, she and her husband owned and operated a restaurant in Martin, Georgia for a number of years before retiring.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Don” Lamar Coleman in 2022.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Nick Busha of Lavonia, Georgia; two grandsons, Jonathan Busha of Lavonia, Georgia and Ben (Peyton) Busha of Toccoa; brother, Bobby Highsmith of Ashland City, Tennessee; three nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Roy Bainey officiating. \

Entombment will be in the Stephens Memorial Mausoleum with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Peggy Ann Highsmith Coleman.
