Johnnie Louise Haynes

Miss Johnnie Louise Haynes, 78, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Taylor and Rev. Don Elrod will officiate. Interment will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on September 8, 1945 in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Carrie Eden Haynes. Johnnie worked as a USDA Inspector for 35 years. She loved her job and all her work friends who she kept in touch with long after she retired. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church. She loved her church family and enjoyed spending time in fellowship. Johnnie loved people and was so grateful for all the visits, cards, and contact she received when she could no longer attend. Johnnie was such a joy to be around. She always put a smile on others faces with her quick wit and hilarious facial expressions. Johnnie was very fortunate to have such an awesome Hospice care team. The love and care they provided her was remarkable. Johnnie loved her family more than anything and she made it known. She will be deeply missed and we will never forget the wonderful memories we made with her.

Miss Haynes is survived by her sister and brother in law, Judy and Randall McIntyre of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Larry and Dianne Haynes of Marietta; nephew, Chad McIntyre (Deanne); niece, Jill Johnson (Brad); nephews, Mike Tomlin (Becky), Tony Shewbert (Donna); great nephew, Reece McIntyre, great nieces, Sydney McIntyre, Ansley Johnson, Carrianne Johnson and a number of other loving relatives.
