Mollie Jean Garrett, a precious and beloved 5-week-old baby girl, departed this world and made her way to heaven on January 15, 2024. Born on December 7, 2023, Mollie brought immense joy and warmth to the lives of her parents, Casey and Ashley Garrett, and her brothers, Henry and Levi Garrett, all residing in Dahlonega.
Those to greet Mollie in Heaven are her maternal grandparents Charles Brown, Jean Brown, Wylda Brown. Lyndal and Janette Seabolt.
Mollie is survived by her extended family, including her maternal grandparents, Dwayne and Sharon Brown of Dahlonega, and paternal grandmother Robin Dunne of Cumming. She is also remembered by her paternal grandfather, Michael Self of Jasper. Mollie's memory will be cherished by her maternal great-grandmother, Barbara Brown, and paternal great-grandparents, John and Carol Garrett of Cumming. Additionally, she leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives who mourn her passing.
Funeral services to celebrate Mollie's brief but impactful life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church. The Rev. Shane Savage and The Rev. Phil Miller will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, with the Rev. Ed Chambers officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM on the same day, providing an opportunity for loved ones to offer support and condolences during this difficult time.
