Janet Carol Gilleland Galaza , age 69, of Carnesville, GA passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wentfred and Lucille Williams Gilleland. Mrs. Galaza is survived by her husband of thirteen years, Tony Sheffield of Carnesville; children, Bobby Tyler Clark of Carnesville, Anthony Trent (Candice) Clark of Auburn, GA, Ashley Carrol (Karyn) Clark of Auburn; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Joanne Sexton of Dahlonega, GA, Elaine Roebuck of Sevierville, TN, Kathy (Rob) Wolfe of Buford, GA; brothers, Lamar (Gloria) Gilleland of Ila, GA, Phillip (Glenda) Gilleland of Comer, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was born on October 31, 1954 in Tucker, GA. Mrs. Galaza was a 1973 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church located in Sugar Hill, GA. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Sexton officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery located in Buford, GA 30518. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
