Mrs. Mary Juanita Ledford, age 60, of Commerce, GA died Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Ledford was born in Commerce to the late James Thomas Elrod and the late Betty Jane Minish Dispain. She was a member of Compassion Baptist Church and was employed at South State Bank.
Mrs. Ledford is survived by her husband, Steve Mitchell Ledford of Commerce; daughter, Christy Heath (Chris) of Homer; son, Mitchell Ledford (Kayla) of Commerce; sister, Beverly Elrod Denton (Donald) of Commerce; and grandchildren, Hunter Heath, Boston Heath, Lorelai Ledford and Colten Ledford.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Thursday, January 18 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Heath, Rev. Leon Carson and Rev. Mike Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM.
