Mrs. Alice Vivian Caldwell, age 75, of Dahlonega, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Vivian was born on November 23, 1948, to the late Dora and Mae Ray. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Edith Hampel, Cleburn Ray, Geneva Lingerfelt, and Rondal Ray.
Vivian owned and operated Vivian's Family Hairstyles for over 20 years and was a homemaker creating a loving and nurturing home for her family. She loved spending time with her family and cooking; her meals filled the hearts and homes of those she cared for. Vivian was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, Pete Caldwell; sons and daughters-in-laws Chad and Michelle Caldwell and Andy and Kim Caldwell, all of Dahlonega; granddaughter and fiancé Amy Caldwell and Zach Bradley; grandson Caleb Caldwell; several nieces, nephews, and a large host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in the Chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Kris Butler and the Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Head officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
