Justin Blake Brister, 34, of Dahlonega, formerly of Dawsonville, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 following a long courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones.
Justin was employed at his brother’s business, MPH Motorsports. He enjoyed motorcycles, cars and anything with wheels. He was so very loved and had a huge heart, abundant kindness, and unending generosity. JB, you will be missed. Preceding him in death were NanNan, Marsha Barnes; uncle, John Brister; and grandfather, Jerry Waters.
Surviving are his wife, Kayla Brister; children, Jaelyn Brister, Nickolas Brister, Cayne Stott, Riley Conway, Raelynn Brister; mother and father, Heather and David Waters; grandparents, Brenda “Nana” Linder and Buddy “Pawpaw” Linder; brothers, Chandler Waters, Brooke Waters, Raylee Waters; aunts and uncles, Stephanie and Shane Wooten, Tammy “Sissy” and Jesse Tinsley, Shane and Bonnie Connor, Tracy Brister Dimiceli, Josh Griffin, Tim and Jill Linder, Tommy and Andrea Linder; God Parents to his children, Ron and Nicole Schandera; special brothers and sisters, Destiny and David Arroway, Holly Ramey, Ashley Moody, Austin Parks, Drew Parks; and multiple special friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 15, 2024 at 4 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Adam Moody, Zack Smith and Tommy Linder will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 until 8 and Monday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
