Mrs. Blondine Marjorie Freeman, age 90, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024.
Mrs. Freeman was born in White County to the late Fred and Hazel Hogan Bowen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Freeman; and sisters, Lois Cannon and Judy Terrell. Mrs. Freeman retired from Ames Textile after a long career. She was a long-time member of Zion Interdenominational Church and loved to work in her yard and listen to wind chimes.
Survivors include son, Freddie Freeman; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Wanda Freeman; grandchildren, Eli Freeman, Happy Volle, and Heather Freeman; great-grandchildren, Alec Volle, Luke Volle, and Ava Volle; sister, Fredine Collins; brother, Gary Bowen; aunt, Ernestine Ellett; and special friend and caretaker, Melanie Nelms.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 P.M. Monday, January 15, 2024 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Heffner and Rev. Baylon Mitchell will officiate. A livestream of the service can be viewed at https://vimeo.com/event/4015049
Interment will follow in Zion Interdenominational Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 P.M. Monday, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
