Ricky Len Tritt

Mr. Ricky Len Tritt, age 69, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He was born in Hall County on March 26, 1954, to the late Hoyt Tritt and Azalea Head Tritt. In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Tritt Rider, brother and sister-in-law Michael "Yogi" Tritt and Becky Tritt, brother-in-law Bud Adams, mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary and Carroll Mincey, grandson Jaxon Kistler, and son-in-law Josh Kistler.

Ricky enjoyed a rich and fulfilling life. He loved driving his truck, finding solace in the quiet moments spent fishing, embarking on cruises with family and friends, and traveling to see the world. He was an Atlanta Braves fan and shared the joy of showing cows at FFA events with his daughters. 

Affectionately known as "Papa" and "Grandpa," Ricky's heart belonged to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. A true friend to everyone he met, Ricky was known for his warm smile and welcoming spirit. His family cherished the moments when he would lead them in prayer and bless their meals. A man of deep faith, he exemplified godliness and humbleness, always making time for others and providing unwavering support when needed.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Trudy Tritt of Dahlonega; son Kevin Tritt (Georgette) of Mt. Airy; daughters Donna Gillespie (Daniel) of Dahlonega, Tracy Forrester (Chris) of Dawsonville, and Gretchen Fuller (Lance) of Dahlonega; grandchildren Morgan Tritt, Nathan Dyer, Andrew Weischedel, Jacob Weischedel, Eli Fuller, Sarah Fuller, and Emmett Fuller; great-grandchildren Alaina Burns, Atticus Weischedel, and Aubri Weischedel; sister Norma Adams; brothers Ronnie Tritt (Laura) and Darrell Tritt (Jackie); brother-in-law Luther Rider; brother and sister-in-law Thorney and Lorri Mincey; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in the Chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lance Fuller and the Rev. Kris Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Craig Sexton officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024, prior to the service.
