Delwyn Mondell Williams

Mr. Delwyn Mondell Williams, 80, of Oakwood, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Dwayne Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Born on September 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Sloan Williams and the late Myrtle Earl Williams. He was a retired carpenter. Mr. Williams was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his sisters, Aileen West, Marilyn Jarrard and Brothers, Sloan Williams, Jr. and Ralph Williams.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Frances Williams of Oakwood; daughters and sons in law, Tammy and Todd Free of Gainesville, Marquita and Tim Milligan of Clermont; sons and daughter in law, Ray and Trish Williams of Oakwood, Marshall Williams of Oakwood; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Maybelle Lee of Clermont and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
