Mr. James Anthony “Tony” Miller, age 53 of Mize Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 after a long illness.
A son of Jane R. Miller and the late James H. Miller, he was born May 14, 1970 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was previously employed with Ferro Corporation as a machine operator. He loved his Georgia “Dawgs” and loved working in his yard. His favorite Bible verse was Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
In addition to his father, James H. Miller, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lena Roberts.
Survivors include his mother, Jane R. Miller of the home; step-mother, Donna Miller of Toccoa; sister, Carol Haydu of Jefferson, Georgia; brothers, Steve Miller of South Carolina and Joseph R. Haydu of Dahlonega, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 12, 2024, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Greg Austin officiating.

Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. James Anthony “Tony” Miller.
