Mary Patricia Faircloth Scoggins,

Mrs. Mary Patricia Faircloth Scoggins, age 74, of Commerce, GA died Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her residence.  Mrs. Scoggins was born in Screven, GA to the late Ronald Otto and Katherine Huff Faircloth.  She was a member of Academy Baptist Church and was Activities Director at Bentley Assisted Living.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scoggins was preceded in death by her husband, Amory Harold “Buck” Scoggins; and brother, Billy Faircloth.

Mrs. Scoggins is survived by her sons, Sean Scoggins and Seth Scoggins both of Commerce; brother, Chuck Faircloth of Savannah; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Wednesday, January 10 at Academy Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Shelton officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Academy Baptist Church Youth Program.
