Glenda Alred Bell

Mrs. Glenda Alred Bell, 81, of Buford, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at her residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church. Pastor Richard Cole and Pastor Richard Cole, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Born on August 9, 1942 in Rome, GA, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Lee Alred and the late Georgia Pauline Ryals.  She was retired from Southern Bell which is now AT&T. Mrs. Bell was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harmon Daniel Bell of Buford; daughter and son in law, Julia and Jeff Baker of Lawrenceville; son and daughter in law, Danny and Tina Bell of Flowery Branch; granddaughter and husband, Karen and Peyton Patterson; granddaughter, Rachel Baker; granddaughter and husband, Jessica and Scott Lord; great grandchildren, Hadleigh Lord and Elijah Lord; grandson and wife, Matt and Liz Bell; twin sister, Linda Alred Davis and a number of other loving relatives.
