Marvin Robert (Bob) Todd of Dahlonega, GA was born to Robert and Lula Todd in Jacksonville, FL on March 6, 1933. He was a beloved grandfather, father, and husband during his 90 years of life.
He held many professions during his life but his favorite was serving his Heavenly Father as a pastor/evangelist and then as an elder in his church, Berea Baptist Church. Accepting his call to his heavenly home, he passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023.
He was predeceased by his first wife Nancy; siblings Ronald (Helen-deceased) Todd, Richard (Lynda)Todd, and Marilyn Austin; children Doug (Linda) Todd and Diane (Pete–deceased) Kirksey; and grandchild Matthew Prince.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Todd; siblings Arlene Eminisor, Marie (Tom) Behm, and Sylvia (Dennis) Lee; children Methune (John) Hivley; Anita (Ray–deceased)Prince, Glenn(Teresa) Davis; grandchildren and great-grandchildren Robert Kirksey, Ashley (Johnny)Sosebee (Matthew), Carol Todd, Robert (Nichole) Todd (Michael, Isabel, Abigail, and Samuel), Andrew(Samantha) Prince (Brayden and Rylee), and Amy (Greg) Roling (Ruth). He also leaves many other family members and dear friends who will sadly miss him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Berea Baptist Church, 43 Pecks Mill Creek (P.O. Box1170), Dahlonega, GA 30533.
A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s homegoing will be held Saturday January 6, 2024, 3:30 PM at Berea Baptist Church.
