Melanie Loyce Bailey

Melanie Loyce Bailey, age 58, of Dacula, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Harvey Bailey; brother, Dustin Bailey.  Miss Bailey is survived Libbie Ficklin of Dacula, GA; father, Gerald Bailey of Lawrenceville, GA; brothers, James (Jennifer) Bailey and Connor and Sydney, Chris (Sophia) Bailey and Robert, Dustin and Veronica; great aunts, Ella Holcombe of Lawrenceville, GA, Paulette Bailey Jefferson, Sheila (Thomas) Holder of Duluth, GA, Joy Harvey of Buford, GA; great uncle, Paul (Edwina) Bailey of Hoschton, GA; several cousins.  Miss Bailey was born on March 3, 1965 in Lawrenceville, GA and was a 1983 graduate of Central High School, Lawrenceville, GA.  She was employed by the Gwinnett Animal Shelter in Lawrenceville, GA for 3 years and retired from the Georgia Department of Driver Services in Lawrenceville, GA after 33 years of service.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Gwinnett Animal Shelter, 884, Winder Hwy.
