Wilma Jo Coffey

Wilma Jo Coffey, age 82, of Cumming, GA, passed away on December 30, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce E. Coffey; sister, Wanda Smith; parents, Edna and Buck Gilmore.  Mrs. Coffey is survived by her children, Barry (Terri) Coffey of Birmingham, AL, Chris K. (Tamara) Coffey of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Megan Flippo, Morgan Coffey, Natalie Coffey; sister-in-law, Shirley Baker; brother-in-law, Fred Coffey.  Mrs. Coffey was born on January 25, 1941, in Rogersville, TN and graduated from Sullivan High School.  She retired from Bank of America after over 25 years of service.  Mrs. Coffey was a member of the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, NC.   She loved singing and once sang in a trio, and she enjoyed singing in the church choir.  Jo was a Godly lady who was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA officiated by Dr. Bill Coates.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
