Donald Gene "Jerry" Anglin

Donald Gene “Jerry” Anglin, age 80, of Buford, GA, passed away on December 31, 2023. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Judy Bryant Anglin; mother, Juanita H. Poole; father, Otis S. Anglin; brothers, Bobby Anglin, Danny Anglin and step-father, Esco Poole.  Mr. Anglin is survived by his sisters, Patricia Anglin Young of Buford, GA, Brenda Poole Cash of Sugar Hill, GA; brother, Larry R. Anglin of Virginia Beach, VA, William B. Poole of Commerce, GA; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Bryant, Jeffery Bryant, Jerold Bryant; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Mr. Anglin was born on July 15, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan.  He received his education in the Buford City School System.  Mr. Anglin retired from the City of Buford public works department. Prior to that he worked as a plumber and painter in the Buford area. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2024 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Kenneth Parker. 

Interment will follow the service at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
