Mrs. Barbara Annette Greene Cartledge, age 86, of Commerce, GA passed away on December 31st, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Mrs. Cartledge was born on April 27th, 1937 in Commerce, GA to the late Willie Ray Greene and Annie Waldroup Greene. Mrs. Cartledge worked in the Commerce Primary School Cafeteria for 47 years. She was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of Commerce Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cartledge is preceded in death by Son-in-Law, Larry Fletcher, Sister-in- Law, Ola Mae Greene and Great-Grandchildren, Cooper Michael Dean and Finley Grace Dean.

Mrs. Cartledge is survived by her husband of 68 years, Willard Cartledge, Son, Billy (Donna) Cartledge, Daughters, Cathy Fletcher, Misty Payne, Teresa Nix, and Lynn Mott. Brother, Johnnie Greene. 11 Granchildren and 26 Great-Grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cartledge will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Vickery officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 9:00AM until the service hour.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Commerce Presbyterian Church or to St. Jude’s or Wounded Warriors Project.
