Daniel Lee Garner

Mr. Daniel Lee Garner, 61, of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.

A Memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Born on January 11, 1962, he was the son of the late Robert Garner and Barbara Ann Tatum Archer.

He was a good brother who loved his family. He was a highly skilled carpenter who could build anything. He helped his mom, brothers and sisters remodel their homes over the years. He was proud of the final touches he added to New Haven Church when it was built. He had a one of a kind personality and the ability to make everyone feel loved and special. He loved to make people laugh and was such a good story teller. His family will miss him so much, but we find comfort in knowing he’s in heaven and we will see him again.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Andrew Garner.

Danny was a brother to 6 siblings. He is survived by his sisters and brother in law, Robin and Jimmy Hayes of Gainesville, Mary Garner Holland of Toccoa;  brothers and sisters in law, Paul Wesley Garner of Gainesville, Robert Michael and Heather Garner of Talking Rock, GA; sister and brother in law, Angie and Lamar Bridges of Homer and many nieces and nephews.
