Gary Wayne Shores

Gary Wayne Shores 68, of Flowery Branch, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

Born on June 30, 1955 in Chase City VA, he was the son of the late Percy Shores and Elwanda Rice. He was employed with All Shores Flooring where he worked hard as a Master flooring installer.

A loving family man, husband, father, brother and uncle, he loved cooking, fishing, grilling, spending time with family and friends and watching football. Gary was a friend to all and always helping those in need. He will always be missed, loved and respected by all.

Mr. Shores is survived by wife of 29 years, Melissa Shores; two daughters Amber and Marissa; sisters, Lynda and Bonnie; brothers, Frank and Bob; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, family in VA and friends in GA and FL.
