Rodney Earl Reed

Rodney Earl Reed, age 83, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was preceded in death by parents, T. C. and Ovelinie Reed, and brother, Robert Reed. Mr. Reed is survived by children, Amanda Wise of Smyrna, GA, Anissa McCammon of Cleveland, GA, Brandon and Melanie Reed of Flowery Branch; six grandchildren, Nicole Wise, Micalya Wise, Ashton McCammon, Joseph Reed, Elizabeth Reed, Olivia Reed; sister-in-law, Faye Reed of Roopville, GA; niece, Melissa Reed Moore; nephew, Vic Reed; and several cousins. Mr. Reed was born on October 8, 1940 in Smyrna, GA. He was a 1958 graduate of Campbell of Smyrna High School. Mr. Reed was a two-year veteran of the U. S. Army, and was retired from auto sales with the Chrysler Company. He was a member of West Buford Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Mr. Reed loved his grandchildren, and enjoyed playing golf, riding motorcycles, reading his Bible, and watching sports.
