Shirley Jeanette Buffington Crane

Mrs. Shirley Jeanette Buffington Crane, 88, of New Holland, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery Buffington Section. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on April 19, 1935 in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Willie F. and Lillie Bell Kendrick Buffington. She was a retired seamstress having worked at Barry Manufacturing. Mrs. Crane was a member of East View Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crane was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Eugene Crane; brothers, Buddy Buffington, Robert Buffington and Randall Buffington.

Mrs. Crane is survived by her brother and sister in law, Tommy and Barbara Buffington of Gainesville; sister in law, Vicky Buffington of Gainesville and a number of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
