Ginger "Muffin" Anderson, age 56 of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 in the comforts of her own home with the people that she loved next to her Christmas tree after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ginger was born May 15, 1967, in Franklin, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Marcus Dowdle and nephew Coleman Stamey.
To know her was to love her and if you didn't she was ok with that. She spent her life loving her children and being the best momma. She was not only their friend but also their rock. In the past couple years she spent her time loving, traveling, and making memories with Rich, who truly made her happy! She loved the beach, being outdoors and anything with her friends and family. She invested 19 years at Lakeview Academy where she nourished and fed many students and staff physically mentally and emotionally. She lived her life on her own terms and like each day was her last.
She is survived by her three children, Chelsea Anderson, Nicholas Anderson, and Brett Anderson. Grandchild, Raelynn Anderson. Her boyfriend and best friend Rich Gibson. Mother Judith Dowdle, Sisters, Jennifer Rogers, Cindy Stamey and Maggie Southard. A slew of nieces and nephews and many friends and people she touched along the way.
