Marvin “Chase” Gibbs

Mr. Marvin “Chase” Gibbs, 33, of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton.

Born on March 3, 1990 in Gainesville, he was the son of Douglas Wayne Gibbs and Kim Free Robertson.

Chase is our life, our steadfast rock, our gentle giant. He was the most wonderful, nurturing, magnificent Daddy. His babies, Brayden and Addie were his life and purpose for living. He was the best son and brother ever imaginable…..always there for his family.

He was the best nephew and cousin; and a true friend. We will miss his love and laughter. He is simply a Good man. He will be missed by all of us and will always be in our hearts.

Mr. Gibbs is survived by his daughter, Adalynn Mae Gibbs; son, Brayden Chase Gibbs; mother, Kim Free Robertson and stepfather, Scott Robertson; father, Wayne Gibbs; sister, Kaci Gibbs Collins all of Gainesville; nieces, Kyli Jae Gibbs, Myli Kae Collins and Maci LaVae Collins and lots of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steve and LaVonne Free and cousin Quitina Helms.
