Willliam Douglas Allison, Jr.

Mr. Williams Douglas Allison, Jr., 48, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 following a sudden illness.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Chris York will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Friday, December 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 2, 1975 in Gainesville, he was the son of William Douglas Allison, Sr. and the late Sandra Judy Finley Allison. Mr. Allison was a graduate of North Hall High School. He was employed with the Hall County Government where he worked as an engineer for over 15 years. Mr. Allison was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, Sandra (Judy) Finley Allison, Mr. Allison was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Lois Helton and Noah and Louella Allison.

Mr. Allison is survived by his daughter, Brooke Allison of Gainesville; father, William Douglas Allison, Sr. of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Sandy Allison Garrett (James) of Gainesville; brother, Noah Allison of Gainesville; nephews, Kyle Garrett, Trey Garrett, Trenton Allison and a number of other loving relatives.
