Marjorie Orr Barron

Marjorie Orr Barron, 90 of Gainesville passed away Thursday December 14, 2023, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Lumpkin.

A longtime resident of Gainesville, Georgia, Mrs. Barron was the daughter of the late Furman and Nettie Floyd Orr of Forsyth Co.  Marjorie and her husband Charles were active members of McEver Road United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her husband Charles Barron of Gainesville, Son and Daughter in law Jerry and Deborah Barron of Braselton, Daughter and Son in law Becky and George Smith of Gainesville, Son and Daughter in law Jeff and Yvonne Barron of Flowery Branch.  Three Grandchildren Sabrina Schroeter, Brandon Smith and Brittany Barron.  One Great Grandchild Kate Smith.  Twin Sister Mildred Wilkerson of Cumming and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 20, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. David Gravitt and Rev. Tyler Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
