Deacon Charles Henry Usher was born on November 20, 1963 at the Banks, Jackson, Commerce hospital in Commerce, GA to the late Mrs. Mary L. Usher and Mr. Henry Usher. He departed his life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional. He was a member of the Sardis Presbyterian Church since he was a child. He was educated in the public schools of Jefferson, GA. He graduated from Jefferson High School. He played basketball and was a star player. He retired from Double D Truss, Inc after 32 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary L. and Henry Usher, his brothers John F. Usher, Arthur Oliver, and Kenneth Austin; his sisters Beverly Ann Usher and Angela G. Usher; his grandparents Mamie Strickland Oliver and Austin Oliver and grandparents Sally Damons Usher and Henry Usher. He leaves to cherish his memory with his wife Debbie Usher, his brothers Samuel Usher and Frederick Banks, his sisters Mary (Norman) Stevens and Barbara (James) Brooks. His two children Tomeka Brown and Tarvis Rakestraw, his two stepsons Zachary and Ashely Lowery, two sister n laws Lashay Lowery and Candace Parks and mother n law Ethellean Pruitt. He also leaves to cherish his memory with all his nieces, nephews, grandkids, family and friends.
