JoAnn Inouye Halvorsen

JoAnn Inouye Halvorsen, age 62, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Monday, December 4, 2023.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Millie Inouye.  Mrs. Halvorsen is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jon Halvorsen of Sugar Hill, GA; children, Danny Hall of Covington, GA, and Nicole Hall of Loganville, GA; Seven grandchildren, Savannah, Shaylen, Daniel, Dalton, Brielle, Peyton, and Christian; Two great-grandchildren, Cohen and Lala; father and mother-in-law, Robert (Joan) Halvorsen of Cumming, GA; sisters-in-law, Wendy (Greg) Peters of Buford, GA, Donna (Robert) White of Buford, GA; brother-in-law, Jay Halvorsen of Grayson, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Halvorsen was born June 25, 1961 in Tucker, GA. She was a 1979 graduate of Berkmar High School.  Mrs. Halvorsen retired from Deluxe Check Printing Company in Tucker, GA.  She enjoyed golf, traveling, and reading. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA. with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
