Hershelene Rebecca Vickery

Mrs. Hershelene Rebecca Vickery, age 94, of Commerce, GA died Monday, December 4, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Mrs. Vickery was born in Athens, GA to the late Roy and Dessie Mae Williams Seagraves.  She was a member of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vickery was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Vickery.

Mrs. Vickery is survived by her daughters, Cathy Standridge, Carol Yvonne McNabb and Rhonda Denise Vickery all of Commerce; sisters, Valerie Tyner of Charleston, SC, Betty Smith of Royston and Trudy Evans of Athens; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 12 PM, Wednesday, December 6 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 12 Wednesday.
