Leon Grady Presley, Jr.

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Leon Grady Presley, Jr. age 85 of Braselton, Georgia who entered rest Sunday December 3, 2023. Mr. Presley was born in Braselton, Georgia the son of the late Leon Grady Presley, Sr. and the late Emmaline Holder Presley.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sara Bell Seabolt Presley.

Mr. Presley was a Veteran of the United States Army, a welder by trade and a member of the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include daughter, Sherry Michella Presley (Lanny) of Cleveland, GA. Five sons, Shannon Presley (Edith) of Braselton, GA, Elvis Darrell Presley of Dahlonega, GA, Ronald Leon Pressley (Janice) of Gillsville, GA, Phillip Wayne Presley of Dahlonega, GA and Mitchell Eric Presley (Tara) of Demorest, GA. Three sisters, Margaret Woodall of Gainesville, GA, Jetty Mincey of Canton, GA and Peggy Allen of Braselton, GA. Nineteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2023 from Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Danny Peek, Reverend Jerry Gaddis and Reverend Calvin Gooch officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors provided by the United States Army Honor Guard at the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery, Braselton, Georgia. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are

Tristen Presley, Austen Harkins, Craig Presley, Timothy Presley, Ryan Presley, Jeremy Dills, Eric Dills and Eric Presley.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
