Lester Woodrow Hudson

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Lester Woodrow Hudson, age 93, of Jefferson, who passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Mr. Hudson was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Isham F. Hudson and the late Anna Standifer Hudson. Mr. Hudson was of the Primitive Baptist Faith, an avid golfer and square dancer. Mr. Hudson was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War. He worked in the printing industry, retiring from Case-Hoyt Printing in Atlanta.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Willette Parker Hudson; four brothers, Edsel Hudson, Louis Hudson, Hubert Hudson, Glenn Hudson and his sister, Catherine Welch.  Survivors include Daughter, Trina Hudson White of Jefferson; Son, Kevin Hudson of Dacula. Grandson, Justin White (Jenna) of Jefferson and Granddaughter, Dana Lutz (Drew) of Cumming; three great grandchildren, Ariana, Sawyer, and Asher Lutz and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM in Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cynthia Griffins officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 2:00PM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.
