Joe Conyer (JC) Cason

Mr. Joe Conyer (JC) Cason, 95, of Signal Mountain, TN, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Palmer will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Born on March 30, 1928 in Waycross, GA, he was the son of the late Harvin Cason and the late Leona Crews Cason. He was retired DeKalb County where he was Director of Roads and Drains. Mr. Cason was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Cason was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cason was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Joan Cason and his second wife, Lillian Cason.

Mr. Cason is survived by his daughter and son in law, Rachel and George Hewlett of Columbus, SC; son and daughter in law, Michael and Connie Cason of Pinehurst, NC; daughter and son in law, Stephanie and Jodie Foster of Dallas, GA; son, Donny Williams of Snellville, GA; grandchildren, Ken Hewlett, David Hewlett, Christian Mande, Ashley Prather; great grandchildren, Christian, Kendall, Kyle, Nate, Ben and a number of other loving relatives.
