Stella Mae Brogdon Lackey

Stella Mae Brogdon Lackey, age 80, of Danielsville, GA passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Lackey; first husband, Douglas Brogdon; parents, J. B. and Agnes Pruitt; brother, Johnny Pruitt.  Mrs. Lackey is survived by her children, Richard Brogdon of Milledgeville, GA, Lisa (William) Roberson of Franklin, NC, Patricia Brogdon of Chatsworth, GA, Robert (Sarah) Brogdon of Toccoa, GA, Matthew Brogdon of Danielsville, Amanda (Durell) Patman of Athens, GA; fourteen grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Laverne (Jeff) Grissom of Jefferson, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was born on January 3, 1943 in Cumming, GA and graduated from Sugar Hill School.  Mrs. Lackey was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and singing.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Sharlene Brogdon officiating.  Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery located in Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
