Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Warren Scott Lusk, Jr. age 49 of Jefferson who entered rest Friday, November 24, 2023. Mr. Lusk was born in Decatur, Georgia a son of Warren Scott Lusk, Sr., and Yvonne Diane Cobb Lusk of Commerce. Mr. Lusk was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson and was a driver for Fedx Freight. Mr. Lusk is preceded by a brother, Michael Shane Lusk.
Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife, April Michelle McCook Lusk of Jefferson. Son, Colton Lusk and daughter Olivia Lusk both of Jefferson. Grandmother, Mae Cobb of Commerce and a niece Paiten Lusk of Jefferson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 27 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Minister Philip Nelms officiating with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Kevin Norris, Trevor Norris, Dustin Lusk, Matt Adcock, and Knox McKinney. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 6:30 P.M. Sunday, November 26 at Evans Funeral Home.
