Margaret Gail Harbert Cobb

Mrs. Margaret Gail Harbert Cobb, age 79 of Oak Valley Road, Toccoa passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Mae Deal Harbert, she was born August 28, 1944 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life.  She was retired from Robertson Furniture with 40 years of service and was a member of Tugalo Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.  Her hobbies included reading and going to yard sales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Harbert and by two sisters, Mary Lee Whitlock and Barbara Pruitt.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Johnny Davenport of Martin; son, Jones Daniel Cobb of Toccoa; grandchildren, Ayla Scott, Jeremy and Brandy Davenport, Joshua and Kayla Davenport and Devin Cobb; six great-grandchildren, Jasper, Gunner, J.J., Lucas, Allison and C.J.; brothers, Welton Harbert of Westminster, South Carolina and Julian Dan Harbert of Milledgeville, Georgia; sister, Agnes Woods of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.

Her wishes were to be cremated.  The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
