Jeff Gilson

Jeff Gilson, age 61, of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Annette Gilson; sister, Yvonne Barlow; brother-in-law, Dwyane Palmer.  Mr. Gilson is survived by his wife of 32 years, Renay Palmer Gilson of Sugar Hill, GA.; sons, Austin (Joy) Gilson of Braselton, GA, and Tyler (Taylor) Gilson of Jefferson, GA; four grandchildren, Gunner, Ryder, Emmy Lou, and Rowdi; sister, Debbie Fowler of Manchester, GA; nephews, Randy (Karen) Barlow of Warner Robbins, GA and Billy (Pam) Barlow of Hampton, GA; sister-in-law, Sherlene (Danny) Voyles of Stone Mountain, GA; brother-in-law, Trent (Linda) Palmer of Buford, GA; close friend, Trotter Smith of Dahlonega, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and numerous other beloved friends.  Mr. Gilson was born October 3, 1962 in Manchester, GA.  He received his education at Manchester High School.  He was a mechanic with a Ford Dealership.  For many years, Mr. Gilson was also a Truck Drive of heavy equipment. He attended Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA.  A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2023 at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with Rev. Ken Dobbs officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 24, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society in memory of Jeff Gilson.
