Jeffrey "JB" Buffington

Jeffery "JB" Buffington, affectionately known as Crazy Horse, Wild Man, and Little Cuz, passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 58 in Gainesville, Georgia.
Born on September 10, 1965, in Gainesville, JB was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.
JB is survived by his daughters and fiancé, Shauntya Miller and Clarence Buford of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michelle Buffington of Rome, GA, Kimeshia Buffington and Quanesha Davis of Gainesville, GA; sons, Toddrick Turner and Mario Davis, all of Gainesville, GA; and his grandchildren, Elisia, Carson, Carter, and Carleigh, all of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Alexius, Ezekiel, Cash and Jordan of Gainesville, GA. He is also survived by his aunts, Jeanette Buffington and Ruby Nell (Hubert) Keels of Gainesville, GA.
JB was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Francis Buffington, and sister, Minister Peggy Jean Buffington-Hayes.
JB attended Gainesville High School, graduating as a Red Elephant in 1984. He then pursued a career as a welder at Shintone in Flowery Branch, GA. Known for his craftsmanship and attention to detail, JB  was skilled at making or repairing things in his home. He was also a passionate cinema enthusiast and had a deep appreciation for automobiles and their inner workings.

The family would like to extend a special dedication to Jeanette Buffington for providing excellent care to JB and doing so lovingly and compassionately. They would also like to express their gratitude to Shelia Buffington and Patrick Pryor for their selfless love and care for Jeffery. Special dedication to Lionel, Jerome and Lewis – JB best friends. They were more than a best friend they were his brothers. A good friend is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have.
