Wayne Stephens, age 71, of Dacula, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. He was preceded in death by father, Roy Stephens; mother, Frances Maddox Stephens; wife, Cindy Stephens; grandparents, Cline and Lester Stephens; aunts, Elsie and Bill Pitts, Irene and Dr. Marshall Everett; uncles, J. C. Stephens, Billy Stephens, Howard Stephens, Lamar Stephens, George Pitts, William Hugh Maddox. Mr. Stephens is survived by aunts, Martha Stephens Pitts of Pearland, TX, Carolyn (Vester) Cantrell of Lawrenceville, GA, Betty Stephens Hamby of Athens, GA, Virginia Welborn of Buford, GA, Jean Stephens of Statham, GA; uncle Arnold (Cathy) Stephens of Lawrenceville; long time friend, Danielle Martinez of Sugar Hill, GA; and numerous cousins. Mr. Stephens was born on December 18, 1951 in Buford, GA He was 1969 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and retired from Kroger Company. Mr. Stephens was a member of Old Suwanee Baptist Church. He loved football, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19 at the funeral home.
