Marie Doster Parks

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Marie Doster Parks, age 71 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, November 7, 2023.  Mrs. Parks was born in Jefferson, Georgia the daughter of the late Pete and Doris Gilbert Doster, was a member of Academy Baptist Church and was a retired Beautician.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parks is preceded by a husband, Sammy Parks.

Survivors include her present husband, Danny “Dan” Durham of Jefferson.  Daughter, Tonya Ginn, grandchildren;  Amber Anderson, Taylor Klitzsch and Colton Klitzsch and one great grandchild, Peyton Anderson.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 Friday, November 10, 2023 from the Woodbine Cemetery with Reverend Eric Shelton Officiating.  The family will receive friends at the graveside.
