Bob Toth

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Bob Toth, age 81, of Athens, Georga (South Jackson Community), who entered rest Wednesday November 7, 2023. Mr. Toth was born in Johnstown, Pennsyvania the son of the late George Toth and the late Mary Kish Toth. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Toth, sister, Eleanor Bakos and two brothers, William B. Toth and George J. Toth.

Mr. Toth worked as a business manager at the University of Georgia Veterinary School, was a graduate of Buena Vista College, Strom Lake, Iowa and was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. After retirement, Bob and his wife, Ann spent a lot of time working with their horses on their farm, loved to travel but spending time with family and friends was most important to them.

Survivors include his son, Justin Toth  and wife Carey of Layfayette, Tennessee. Two grandchildren, Emma and Ryker Toth. Two brothers, Richard J. Toth of Windber, PA and John A. Toth of Jackson MI. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with Mr. Toth’s wishes, he will cremated and services will be held at a later date.
