Mrs. Betty Lou (Ramey) Fowler, age 84, of Lula, Georgia, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Gainesville, Georgia.

Betty was born February 15, 1939 in Homer, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Ramey and Roxy (Roberts) Pruitt. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Ramey and a sister, Patsy (Pat) Russell.

Betty was a homemaker and loved working in her garden and taking care of her flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James D. Fowler of Lula, GA; sons and daughters-in-law; Mark and Reann Fowler of Jasper, GA; Scott and Penny Fowler of Lula, GA; Russell and Wanda Fowler of Cairo, GA; Chris & Jennifer Fowler of Alto, GA; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Sid Ramey of Atlanta, GA; and a number of other family and friends also survive.
