Evelyn Arnold Martin

Mrs. Evelyn Arnold Martin, 74, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, at Chestatee Baptist Church. Rev. Chad Dale and Mr. Powell Sailors will officiate. Interment will follow in Chestatee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Monday, November 6, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on November 22, 1948 in Homer, GA, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Winnie Hubbard Arnold. Mrs. Martin was retired from the Hall County School System. She was a member of Chestatee Baptist Church.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kent Martin of Gainesville; daughters, Sandie McClure-Howe (Wilson) of Elyria OH; Kimberly Dawn Minor of Athens; son, Doug Martin of Gainesville; grandchildren, Kristen Hope Minor, AnnaJane Grace Minor, Matthew Noah Minor and a number of other loving relatives.
