Harry Duane Ripple

Harry Duane Ripple entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 46 years to Irene Blatnik Ripple, Son of the late Wayne Clinton Ripple and Josephine Elizabeth Gifford Ripple.  Brother to the late Homer Clinton Ripple, the late Betty Jane Goyer(Edgar), Dorothy Ann Vaughn(Jim) and Joseph Edward James Ripple(Becky).  Father of Dorothy Mae Casner (Lou), Harry Lewis Ripple (Dawn), the late Harry Duane Ripple, Jr., Barbara Jean Ripple,  Christopher Duane Ripple and Robyn Dawn Ripple-Gentinetta (Marcelo).  Grandfather of Elizabeth, Christina, JoAnne, Melissa, Jessica, Jennifer, Devin and Owen.  He was born in Shirleysburg, PA, lived in Bridge City, LA for close to 40 years when he retired in 2002 and moved to Murphy, NC where he resided until his passing.  Harry was a U.S. Army Veteran, an owner/operator truck driver and mechanic.  He was the owner of Ripple's Auto Repair in Jefferson, LA until he retired.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and auto racing enthusiast and owned and raced stock cars.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his camp in Cocodrie, LA fishing and boating.  He loved animals, especially his cats.  As per his final wishes, no services will be held.  If you would like to honor Harry, the family invites you to make a donation in his name to the American Heart Association or your local animal shelter.
