Warren D "Jack" Jackson, Jr.

Warren D "Jack" Jackson, Jr, age 79, of Alto, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 30, 2023.

Mr. Jackson was born on July 26, 1944 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Warren D Jackson, Sr. and Thelma Darlene Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Margie Diane Jackson; brother, Harry Jackson; sisters, Carolyn Jackson and Diana Jackson Reed. Mr. Jackson enjoyed reading, watching old western movies, fishing and good food. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Jackson had retired from Kubota and had served as a tool and die machinist for many years. He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce Jackson, of Alto; son, David Armour, of Clarkesville; son, Gary Jackson, of Jefferson; son, Michael Jackson, of Mount Airy; daughter, Kimberly Jackson Anderson, of Cornelia; daughter, Shannon Jackson Jensen, of Canisteo, NY; daughter, Jackie Arrowood, of Alto; sister, Sherry L Jones, of Kokomo; grandchildren, Kevin Armour, Kayla Armour, Lauren Anderson Leggett, Amberly Anderson, Halie Jackson, Johnathan Pugh, Allison Jackson Kiker, Ashley Jackson, Jacob Jensen and Jennica Jensen; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Mr. Victor Anderson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the funeral home prior to the service.
