Stan Douglas Haigler

Mr. Stan Douglas Haigler, age 73, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at his residence.  Mr. Haigler was born in Camden, SC to the late George I. and Clara Hursey Haigler.  He was a member of Union Baptist Church, a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force and retired service manager at Wayne Neal Chevrolet.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Haigler was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Ingram Haigler; son, Mike Poole; and daughter-in-law, Janet Poole. 

Mr. Haigler is survived by his daughters, Deborah Owensby (Billy) of Colbert and Phyllis Sparks (Phillip) of Commerce; brothers, George Haigler (Elizabeth) of Dalton and Bill Haigler of Chattanooga, TN; daughter-in-law, Debbie Poole; brother-in-law, Fred Ingram (Martha); grandchildren, Jeremy Owensby (Kim), Ryan Owensby (Alison), Jason Sparks (Amber), Drew Sparks (Heather), Kasey Evans (Greg) and Kelsey Poole (Kristen); 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephew.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, November 3 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Owensby and Dr. Ray Richardson officiating.  Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from noon until 2 PM.
