John Lewis Vinson, Jr.

Mr. John Lewis Vinson, Jr., 75, of Dahlonega, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Born on December 14, 1947 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late John Lewis Vinson, Sr. and the late Ruth Taylor Vinson. He was retired from Ledford Trucking where he drove trucks.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Vinson was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Darlene Pratt.

Mr. Vinson is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Chris and Debi Vinson of Monroe, Stephen and Sherry Vinson of Clermont, Josh and Tonya Vinson Owen of Dahlonega, Johnthan and Kayla Vinson of Greenback, TN; sisters and brothers in law, Nancy and Eddie Morgan of LaGrange, Dorinda and Martin Riggs of LaGrange, Diane and Bruce Bozeman of The Villages, Wildwood, FL; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives.
