Mircea Ionita

Mircea Ionita, age 70, of Auburn, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Niculae Ionita and Ioana Ionita.  Mr. Ionita is survived by his wife of 49 years, Julia Ionita; children, Adriana Filip, and Cosmin Ionita; brothers, Gabriel and Michael; grandchildren, Jordan P. Serban, Carmel J. Serban, Clara R.C. Ionita, Samuel N.T. Ionita, Toby T. Ionita, and George T.S. Ionita.

Mr. Ionita was born July 4, 1953 in Romania.  He was a Real Estate Appraiser.  He also had worked for Gwinnett County as a Custodian.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 22, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Pastor Nicu Butoi officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.
