William Lance Baugh

Mr. William Lance Baugh, 80, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Gardens of Gainesville.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Anthony Shope and Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate.

Born on June 30, 1943 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Giles (Doc) and Mattie Cagle Baugh. He was a self-employed truck driver and was the owner of WLB Trucking. Mr. Baugh was a proud Veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baugh was preceded in death by his wife, Raymonia Porter Baugh; sisters, Sandra Grindle, Sybil Taylor, Rita Barrett, Valerie Wiley, Veronica (Ronnie) Baugh; sister in law, June Porter and brother in law, Terry Porter.

Mr. Baugh is survived by his daughter, Teresa Waldrop of Gainesville; brother, Michael Baugh of Lula; sister, Linda Clore of Cleveland; sister in law, Carolyn Shope of Gainesville; grandchildren, Cooper Chastain, Will Waldrop and a number of other loving relatives.
